Workspace Architecture
Welcome to our Notion workspace! Our Notion workspace is roughly structured along the departmental divisions. We have different types of access to pages, depending on the content. Everyone has access to our main page [insert page name] as a dashboard to navigate to other sections.
Workspace Pages
All company-wide pages can be found under the Workspace heading in the sidebar. This includes general resources and specific information from various divisions.
In our workspace, our top level pages are:

Shared Pages
These are pages that are only accessible to specific group of people. In general, we aim for more transparency, but we recognize that sometimes information must remain internal to a specific team. If possible, it's best for these pages to live within our division-based architecture. This way we reduce miscellaneous shared pages floating around in Notion.
Private Pages
These are pages just for you! We recommend using these for personal project management, planning, or note taking.
Your first edits
Create your profile in the Team Directory
Click on the Team Directory page (@ mentioned) and select the blue "New" button at the top right. Select a template, and start filling out your information. Make your name the title, and add a picture of yourself within the page.
Once you've filled that out, you can explore and learn more about your colleagues!

Creating a private page
In the Private section in the left sidebar, you can create content that only you can see. Click the + to the right of Private and start creating. Use our slash command by typing / and explore the different kinds of content you can create.

Explore our templates
When you create a new page, you can select Templates and check out what you can use Notion for. You can also click Templates at the bottom of the left sidebar to explore these anytime. We have more community-made templates here that you can see and duplicate into the workspace .
