Template Translation is only available for creators with Notion AI enabled in their workspace. If you’re on a trial and out of AI credits, the feature will not be available.
Template translation enables creators to quickly and easily translate their templates into different languages. A one-click solution that lets you publish your work to a global audience.
How to use it
- To translate your template into another language, start from your creator profile and choose a template you’d like to translate.
- Click the language dropdown at the top right of the page.
- Choose “Manage languages” from the menu. Add a new translation. Choose whether to translate just the template listing or both the listing and the template contents.
- You will see a popup in the bottom left when your translated template is ready.
- You can click “See template” to view your template or look for the translated page in your private pages
- Click “Site settings” and copy the public site link from the newly translated page and add it to the newly made template listing template link field.
- Click “Regenerate” to get a new screenshot.

Your translated template will appear in the same parent location as the source template.

How can I view the Marketplace in different locales?
Scroll to the bottom of https://www.notion.com/templates and click the language picker.
Things to note
- Block limit: You can translate templates with a total block size under 20,000.
- Included block types: Text blocks, databases, forms
- Not included: Automations, buttons, custom AI block instructions
- AI plan required: Your workspace must have Notion AI enabled. If you’re on a trial and out of AI credits, the translation option will not appear
